VOYAGE Horizons operates through three distinct teams, each playing a key role in bringing the PLC vision to life across the school.

VOYAGE Lead Team:
The VOYAGE Lead Team serves as the strategic core of the initiative, made up of school leaders, instructional coaches, and strategists. This team performs comprehensive needs analyses for the school, digging into data to identify key areas for improvement. Based on these insights, they create strategic training roadmaps tailored to the school’s unique needs. Additionally, the Lead Team is responsible for selecting and training VOYAGE Facilitators, equipping them with the skills and strategies needed to carry forward the VOYAGE mission. Acting as the “compass” of VOYAGE Horizons, this team sets the direction and drives implementation.

VOYAGE Facilitator Team:
The VOYAGE Facilitator Team bridges the strategic vision of the Lead Team with its practical execution in the classrooms. This team is composed of educators from each grade level or content area, chosen for their leadership qualities either by the Lead Team or their own peers. Facilitators receive training from the Lead Team and are responsible for guiding their grade-level PLCs. In these meetings, they lead their teams through data analysis, discussions on instructional strategies, and decision-making processes that directly impact student learning. They serve as catalysts of transformation, sparking growth and collaboration at the grade level.

VOYAGE Grade Level Team:
The VOYAGE Grade Level Team forms the foundation of the VOYAGE Horizons initiative. Composed of educators within specific grades or content areas, these teams meet regularly to make data-driven instructional decisions under the guidance of their VOYAGE Facilitator. Together, they analyze student data, share best practices, and align their teaching approaches to enhance student outcomes. As the front-line change-makers, these educators foster a collaborative culture and drive continuous improvement within their teams, directly impacting the instructional landscape and student success across the school.
